On Saturday 26th April 2008 Scout representives received, with sincere thanks, 700 euros from Newbridge Credit Union. The cheque was presented by Newbridge Credit Union Chairperson, Mr. Pat Ryan, and accepted by the Scout Group Leader, Mr. Anthony Corcoran. This support will help towards funding Scouts to attend the Jamboree in Punchestown in August. The Credit Union also supplied the Scout Group with kit bags bearing the Credit Union and Newbridge Scouts logos.
